"We stayed at the cottages which were very nice. Beds were comfortable and room was quiet. Excellent dining experience (7 course meal with wine pairing). Staff was friendly and professional. Excellent experience. Didn’t play golf but had beautiful views over golf course. Everything top. "
"This was such a beautiful cottage hotel. The food was excellent. I had the best macaroni and cheese I've ever had. The village has more shopping than you'd expect. It's definitely worth the short drive off the beaten path. And of course it's a filming location for Outlander which makes it extra special. "

It’s an old building so no lift but full of character . I’m the carers for my brother who is traveling with me & the hotel made sure that we had rooms next to each other .
The rooms are ok , comfortable beds , nice ensuite bathroom but obviously as it’s an older building they aren’t like a travel inn.
The breakfast was excellent & as a vegan the staff went out if their way to make sure that I had a good breakfast that I could eat . My brother...

"The amazing water mill was a stunning and unique feature of the hotel. We found the noise of the water flowing throughreally calming. Our room was lovely and clean. The toilet was nice and clean but it was tired looking just needs upgraded. Overall a very enjoyable stay."
