"WHAT A FIND!!!! A real gem After being let down with our original booking, we found the Black Lion Hotel. It's set in a small, quiet village near the river. We had a superb evening meal, the pub was busy in both the bar and restaurant area all evening, which is always a good sign.... the food was superb, service was excellent The room we stayed in was quiet, clean, the bathroom was a good size, the bed was comfy. "It was approx 15 mins walk to the main town of Llandudno, was clean and tidy and had a big bathroom, our room had a bathroom on a lower level so had to go down a few stairs. Unsure if other rooms had more accessable bathrooms but worth asking if your not very mobile. Lovely breakfast but asked for it for 8am and got there at 8 but a bit slow on the service and received breakfast at 8:50. All in all a very nice stay with friendly staff and clean and well presented rooms."

"The perfect location for exploring the area. Room was a little dated but very clean and had everything we needed, and this only added to the charm. The staff were friendly and helpful and we very much enjoyed the breakfast and food in the restaurant. Excellent value for money and I would definitely stay again if visiting north wales. "

"Excellent location on the front next to the pier. Nice room. Great breakfast and as we stayed with our dog he enjoyed his bacon and sausage breakfast as well. Staff were great and made a fuss of the dog. Would recommend it and will be visiting again in the future"
