"It’s the famous landmark of Taipei. But that’s it. You can get there by the free shuttle at Yuanshan station of subway, take pictures and then leave. I tasted a one-night stay out of curiosity and regret it. Most of the rooms are in the middle of the building, surrounded by corridors and other rooms. So no windows. "The room was clean the staff were extremely helpful especially a young lady who helped me after I lost my passport. We will return for the last two days of our trip in Taipei and we shall look forward to it. Would highly recommend. I travelled there with my sister in law and she was equally impressed"

"The hotel had nothing around it and no easy food options within. There is only a buffet or a fancy Chinese restaurant with few recognizable options for the non-Taiwanese or Chinese travelers to choose. They need a mini-mart of some kind."
