"Check-in was very easy. The staff was very friendly, attentive and spoke very good English which was nice. Stayed in a non-smoking queen with lounge access, room was above average for typical Japanese size hotel room. The 17th floor and room was showing a little bit of wear specifically the carpeting in both. Lounge staff was very nice. Super convenient to Okayama station and plenty of food options near by. "

"Temperature inside the building was too warm and the air was dry. Toilet inside the room did not smell fresh. No cold water bath in the hot spring/sauna area. Ocean view was very nice. Food was okay but I would have preferred an option for a western breakfast."

The meals were nicely presented and delicious. One of our servers, Machiko took excellent care of us and treated us like family. "The hotel is located on a mountain close to the center of town. It was very easy to go to the castle and garden by car. The breakfast was awesome and the room was very large and spacious. The view from our room was amazing, looking out over the city. "
