"We stayed here for two nights and rented the apartment as there were 4 people. The apartments are not at the hotel site and you have to drive away about 4-5 minutes. They are very old and the floors creek at every move. The bed in the main bedroom was only full size and was too small for two people. The only mirror they had was in the bathroom, which was very inconvenient for doing makeup. They should have a place to hang towels. They had secured Wi-Fi, which was nice. The kitchen was nice. "We were there during the weekend when the town held a special event about mountain bike. Luckily, the hotel was out of the city centre, so the night was peaceful and quiet. The room was spacious. Only one particularly dislike was that from the bathroom window, the afternoon sun was so strong that we could have got sunburn sitting on the toilet. And there was no curtain on bathroom window. Well, it was a very unusually sunny that day.

"I would highly recommend this property! The location was beautiful and convenient, the hosts were warm and welcoming, they delivered exactly as promised. The room was beautiful and comfortable. The gardens are a delight. The continental breakfast was plentiful and fresh. 5 stars all the way!"

"Great convenient place to stay with wonderful view. Converted Victorian mansion with an extraordinary whisky collection. The staff were v friendly accommodating and hospitality focused. The homemade food was excellent. Everything was great."
