"You cannot beat this location— perfect spot in the city and all of the top tourist spots are within 5-10 min walking distance. However, it felt a bit overpriced for the quality of the hotel. Dining room was closed for renovation so they provided small pastries and coffee/tea in an empty hotel room each morning instead. Staff was on top of cleaning the rooms, even if I left much later that morning, which I appreciated! Room was big, but had view of other hotel rooms. Lifts were difficult to deal...

"The lad at check in was lovely, the property was clean. I stayed with my spouse, the bed was split and wildly uncomfortable. The toilet was so hard to flush I nearly broke my arm. I was woken at 9 am to the sound of a drill hammering through my wall which lasted about an hour. No air conditioning and the room was very hot. The window opened onto the busy street. I wouldn’t personally stay here given the rough stay and steeper price point "

"It was just one problem after another. Fan wouldnt work, phone wouldnt work, heater wouldnt shut off and was cooking us out, the duvet cover zipper was broken and flapping out. The staff was really great and were trying. We had an issue they attempted to solve it. Even offering to move rooms on last night, which was more trouble than it was worth as we were leaving very early in the morning. We had 2 days there and both days gave issues.
