"There are actually 3 properties in which you can stay. We ended up in an adjacent property that was co-located with Taco Taco restaurant. We rented a junior suite thinking it would be larger with a seating area - it was a basic hotel room. The room was dated, the noise from outside could be heard until midnight, and the A/C rattled. Definitely never again ....."

"I paid for a balcony on the oceanside to sit and listen to the ocean and the next door loud music parties from 7 pm to 1 am ruined it for starters. There was no peace in the evenings. The balconies are all made with simple bars. Anyone can jump over to your balcony which is unsettling. The air conditioner unit is right below the units. So, even if there isn't any music, this is a constant during the day anyways. I had one issue with the room which was the nightstands which had no outlets and pulled away from the wall a bit. The cleaning staff had a problem with supplying our room with enough towels, etc. When I asked for a washcloth, she wouldn't give it to me. It made no sense not giving me a washcloth. I would not recommend paying for a balcony side view of the ocean here."

"I absolutely love the Croydon! I’ve stayed here before and it’s so convenient. Great restaurant onsite, feel of a boutique-style hotel, the room is standard (at least the one I stayed in) but it’s perfect and clean. Street parking available, I parked right in front of the main entrance and left my car there the entire stay. My only complaint is the gym. Not much of one, really. It’s outdoors with an awning, some rusted weights, bikes and a bench. Definitely expected more because the hotel is so lovely. This won’t deter me from staying here again, though, I’d definitely be back. Just something to think about for a future space."

"Little doorstops on the floor for the bathroom doors are toe breakers Should rather be bumpers on the wall. Room was clean very spacious! Great balcony views! Excellent counter space in bathroom. I wish there were hooks to hang bathroom towels. shower faucet was difficult to turn on, but shower itself was clean and spacious."

"The elevator in this hotel doesn’t work. You have to wait 30 minutes to get into working elevator. At one point in my stay to avoid waiting I had to go up by stairs to the 22 nd floor. The key doesn’t work. The cleaning is terrible and no towels by the pool."

"This is an honest review of my experience here: The rooms were spotless cleaned, and looked like they are fully renovated. The staff goes above and beyond, best service ever. Everyone who works there I would give them a 10. At the pool they have big bottles of sunscreen for everyone to use and I loved that. We also loved the game room for the teens and kids, I just wish it was opened until later but they close at 6pm. On the other hand, the hotel is very old, so the layout of the property is weird. Specially the spa and gym area. The beach area is not clean, there was a lot of seaweed and I couldn't believe you have to pay to get an umbrella. This is the first time I have to pay for an umbrella at a hotel in South Beach. The other thing I hated was the extra charge for every single thing. For example, yoga class you have to pay $30 per person, but not for the meditation class. Microwave in the room, $25, kids club $125 per day. Overall, the hotel is good if you're not looking for something luxurious, very family friendly, it's clean, has great staff but it's too old and the extra charges make no sense. "

"Great access to beach and Miami Beach board walk. They have two pools, one for only adults which was nice if you just want to relax. Great food and bar service by the pool. Room was very nice and clean. "
