"Lovely hotel with good facilities. Staff were friendly and helpful. I traveled to York by train, so the location of this hotel next to the station was perfect for me. I would definitely stay at this hotel again."

"If this isn’t the most expensive place in town, it must be pretty close. We were lucky, we feel, to get a room in the modern extension. It was a corner room and remarkable. The girl at the front desk tried to upgrade us for money and with her accent I couldn’t quite understand what the benefit to a different room would have been. It is hard for me to imagine a bedroom at this hotel. We used the spa and it is quite lovely and recently redone. However, a few of the features were not in operation,...

"Our room was clean and comfortable, and breakfast was delicious. The staff was very kind. I did Not prefer that it is your responsibility to select to have your room cleaned & freshened (the day before you want it cleaned). I feel that a 4 star property should automatically provide daily housekeeping to some extent."

"Room was clean, Free breakfast was amazing!! Parking isn’t on site so you have to pay for parking. We used a van so it was even harder to find a place to park. Other than that the stay was really nice and our room was really nice."
