"Hotel was excellent. We wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. The issue we had was the fact that the service in the dining room and bar was appalling. On the first night i waited 1 hour for fish and chips to be served. How many excuses can you make. On the 3rd night we didn't book a table. I was told we couldn't eat there. This was at 19:30 with the restaurant closing at 21:30. When i asked why i was told there was a race meeting on. Unbelievable. I queried why they couldn't get me in to a half...

"Lovely hotel - chose the Radisson hotel after such a lovely experience at their hotel in Stockholm. Staff were very helpful and very welcoming. Room was really nice, clean and tidy, we had a great view of the river. Very convenient parking next to the hotel. Will be staying here again next time we are in York."

"The hotel was very nice, staff were so helpful and friendly. Room was comfortable and had a lot of amenities but the only thing was extracted fan wasn't working right and was very noicey. Breakfast was lovely. Right across from the Minster and few minutes walk from Shambles."
