"The first room was up 4 flights of stairs which was difficult having COPD the central heating was permanently on and couldn't turn it off, it made a racket all night stopped us sleeping, they eventually moved us to a bungalow which was much better but the hot water was boiling hot and could be very dangerous for children . There was NO restaurant or bar which was advertised . it was self catering but no shop to buy food and the internet on for 4 days Not impressed and would not recommend"

"Generally a good experience, but with reservations. A hotel of character, much nicer than bland city tower blocks, but ready for overall refurbishment. Very un-green: no double glazing anywhere I saw. Room cleaning skimpy - glass shelf over sink always left unwiped, tea provisions not topped up adequately, bath not wiped round. "The room and bed was massive and both the room and bathroom was very clean . A little note on arrival was very welcoming and a lovely touch. Plenty of shops bars and places to eat right on the doorstep. The nightclub was closed so the only noise was from the seagulls and pigeons . Would recommend."

"Clarach bay holiday park was a really nice location. Ok for dogs. The position of the chalet was reasonable walk to the beach and club house. The chalet was reasonably clean but needs some serious TLC. Electrics too many extention leads and the RCD kept tripping."
