"Avoid this scam! We booked this hotel and payed in advance with Expedia. As we checked out the hotel asked for 100 USD for 2 nights which is way higher than it should be. As of now(2020/01/25) the hotel claims that they don't work with Expedia. The host speaks only numbers and a few English words making communication impossible and scamming quite possible. "Top 12 was incredible! Beautiful rooms, amazing views, lovely service and very safe! They arranged a great tour guide for the Lalibela churches and the food was great. Rooms are so clean and comfortable! Owner was personally available for us anytime which was so indicative of Ethiopian hospitality. We will stay again!"
