"The room was enormous and well outfitted for simple meal preparation and hanging up our laundry. It was in a great location for walking to the center of Danyang, and an easy bus ride to the train station and to some hikes we did. Staff were friendly and the English was good. It was also very convenient to have a convenience store and washing machines within the building."

You wake up to the sounds of birds and roosters, and at night, the soft lighting around the hotel gently guides your way without disturbing the peace. Even the internet comes and goes—but instead of being frustrating, it felt like a reminder to stay present and fully take in the surroundings. Sleeping on the heated floors was one of my favorite parts. I felt my back pain disappear, and in a way, it felt like I was reconnecting with something deeper—like returning to my roots. It reminded me so much of my childhood in Vietnam, staying with my grandparents. I came to Korea to find myself after losing my grandfather in 2025, and this place held space for that journey.
