There’s also a very friendly and very affordable rent a car shop just 2 minutes walking from the hotel. The Hotel staff are very nice, professional and friendly. Our stay was great! Felt like family. "I booked a smoking room and I got a smoking room. The air cleaner in the room works great and the room is bigger than normal JR hotels. Everything is nice about the hotel. I have been staying in JR East hotel Mets for sometime now and I am beginning to get hooked to it. If I were to nitpick, I do need to carry my luggage up a few steps twice to get to the lobby of the hotel. Not a deal breaker but for smaller ladies who are not so strong, do take note. "
