"The breakfast had a wide variety of items. Loved that there was always a plant based protein like lentils or chickpeas and plant based milk. The staff were quite friendly and quick to address any issues raised. The rooms we clean enough though our room had sticky floors for the entire stay we were there for 6 nights and even with the daily room clean the floors constantly sticky. The airport shuttle was as advertised only on the hour though which can be tricky but it was easy enough to use. The property is still new and in good condition. This hotel is in a corporate part of town so I would think there would be many business travellers like myself. It would be helpful to have a quiet area for guests to work that isn’t in the room. All common areas have loud background music making them not the best for taking meetings and working. "

"The room at the Fairmont Royal York is dated and needs a major renovation. The bed also needs replacement and the bathroom is very dated for the price that is being charged for this room. Time to invest. "

"We’ve really enjoyed our stay our room was upgraded so we had two separate rooms which contained two TVs and we found being on the 12th floor was very quiet and we were able to get a good sleep. If you’re looking for a luxurious bathtub, then you might want to find a different room back on the other hand. There is a hot tub on the 22nd floor and some exercise equipment that you would probably enjoy if you get up early before you check out thoroughly enjoyed our stay thank you."

"I enjoyed the area. We came to Toronto to celebrate our Anniversary at the Raptors game on the sunday. We came in on the Saturday and stayed until Monday. The first room we were in had no heat. I went to the front desk and they changed our room on the Sunday with a free upgrade which was so sweet. I was very grateful for that. Very friendly staff. So nice and always smiling. Location is great walking distance to so many things. Eaton center was 5minute walk away. Great location for food. Every corner you looked there was food options. That was so good. Overall I would give it at 8/10. Its an older hotel but has charm to it. Hearing sirens throughout the night was annoying but i cant blame the hotel. First time to Toronto so I was not yse to that. This is a great hotel if you are looking or entertainment near by. "

"We left before breakfast so can’t rate. We were not impressed that coffee in the lobby was 2 dollars for a regular and more for specialty make your own. There was coffee in the room, but we came off an early flight and had to wait for our room for about one hour, although actual check in was 1 1/2 hours later. STill coffee in the room doesn’t help whilst waiting! The restaurant in the hotel has excellent food"
