"Der Mann, der beim Empfangen arbeitet, ist ein sehr netter Mann. Das Zimmer ist extrem klein. Im Zimmer gibt es viele defekten Sachen. Niemand will diese reparieren. Der Parkplatz ist genug gross. Die Lage ist eher ruhig."

"We arrived rather late (after 9.00pm), was a bit tricky to find in the dark, but we managed it! Greeted by Hilde - lovely lady. Took us to our rooms, which were lovely & comfortable & clean. Allowed full use of the lounge & kitchen. There were 3 of us (adults). Very spacious. Shower lovely. Breakfast choice amazing. We stayed here having visited Bruges. Would definitely return & recommend. "

"opdringerige bemoeizuchtige hospita: we konden de kamer niet verlaten of ze stond achter ons, meermaals gewekt door lawaai van de waterpomp van de toiletten, verouderde douche op de gang, geen airco of waaier, niet al te vers ontbijt, geen wisselgeld ontvangen na betaling (was maar 1,50€ maar toch)"

The staff are so friendly, the breakfast is lovely, the rooms are small but really clean and the beds are some of the most comfortable we have slept in and if you can see my other reviews we are very very fussy! "We didnt eat breakfast here as we ate out. Pleasant, helpful staff on check in. Room was clean. Nice sized room. Aircon worked a bit to start with, but stopped working at night. We had a very sticky night. This was during the recent heatwave, and we booked as they advertised air conditioning. Our son and his girlfriend were next room and they experienced the same. No apologies or refund offered. As you can imagine, we weren't pleased"

"Meiner Meinung nach: Zimmer für den Preis ok. Könnte mal wieder renoviert werden. Einige Stockflecken im Bad. Zimmer recht hellhörig. Man hört den ganzen Tag und die ganze Nacht überall Türen knallen und laute Geräusche durch lose Bodenplatten. Straße nachts recht laut. WLAN sehr gut. Lage sonst in Ordnung, man ist schnell am Strand und in der Stadt und der ÖPNV ist gut erreichbar und teilweise kostenlos. Frühstück für den Preis nicht ausreichend. Bereits eine Stunde vor Ende der Frühstückszeit...

"Very well placed for visiting Ypres centre. Parking was free and secure. Room was very good all round. We would definitely stay here again. Restaurant and bar are expensive relative to the alternatives in a very short walk of the hotel."
