The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The dinner and breakfast were excellent. Town square a short walk away with a number of bars and restaurants. Wished our stay was longer.

The hotel is beautiful. The room I was in was spacious with a great shower! Spotless too. The whole hotel is bright and airy and the owner and husband very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great as was an evening meal. I can’t fault it. In fact, it’s one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in. Pretty garden too with ample parking close to the city centre which is lovely. I’ll be back!

Charming hotel with character and comfort.

Lovely hotel, very helpful staff, I asked for a couple of extra items and they were so accommodating. Beautiful old building but now done to the highest standards. Fabulous breakfast too. Bed very comfortable and bathroom very clean. This was my second visit. I hope to go there again soon.

This was our first visit to this hotel which is on the outskirts of Veurne near the park. There is parking in the grounds and the gates are locked at night. It's an attractive old building with high ceilings and our room was large with bedding for three if needed. Breakfast was very good with an excellent selection of fruit, ham and cheese with copious buns. It is family run and they are very friendly. We will return in the near future.

Good location

Only stayed for one night but we have stayed here twice before. Excellent position for short walk into the market place where there are many restaurants. Staff friendly as always.

Superb but get there early

Excellent hotel in a great location. We really enjoyed our stay, the room was small but comfortably and tastefully furnished. Breakfast very tasty and freshly cooked. The gardens of the hotel are beautiful and superbly well maintained, a real highlight for us. Veurne is a great little town, very handy for the Channel Tunnel. Well worth a stop, wide range of bars and restaurants around the market square which is a few minutes walk from the hotel. One thing that caught us out is the very early check-in - reception closes at 7pm. They very kindly made an exception for us but be aware particularly if crossing from the UK where you lose an hour.

Lovely friendly hotel

The hotel is in a great location for visiting Veurne. It is a beautiful building with secure parking. The continental breakfast was a generous selection of healthy produce. The bed and pillows were comfortable. We stayed in room 15 which is a duplex room, with the bathroom on the lower floor. The upper floor was accessed by a spiral staircase. The one thing that I feel could enhance this space is if the bed was on the lower floor and this would leave the upper space for an amazing sitting area, or even allow for beds for children. Saying that, I wouldn’t hesitate to stay in room 15 on my next visit.

Het personeel was super vriendelijk en behulpzaam. De kamers kunnen wel beter. Onder beide bedden (2 kamers) lag heel veel stof en in 1 kamer lag op de grond een gebruikte zakdoek. Ook de schimmel tussen de badkamertegels is een beetje jammer.
