"Perfect location (two minute walk to daughter's house); excellent breakfasts, particularly the porridge; fun pub downstairs, loved a cappella rehearsal."

"Location was good and also the matras was ok. The Bath and furniture were dated, Bath rust and mold. View from the window on garbage from hotel. We had lots of flies in the room. The TV was not working properly (bad receipt most channels). No soap and shampoo at shower (both empty). No cleanup room and clean towels for 2nd night. We paid for breakfast but was poor. "Stayed here on a Thursday overnighter with my hubby, it doesn't look much from outside, but step inside and what a little gem! This place has just 3 rooms, ours was immaculate and I'm sure it was a higher standard than your average pub hotel. The decor was really nice, bed was super comfy, tea & coffee making facilities, and the bathroom was very nice and a decent size with a good electric shower. We had a delicious full cooked breakfast made for us the following morning. Free parking nearby (...
