"Great service, clean hotel, in a nice quiet location."

"Pet friendly Clean"

"Did not feel safe. A lot of doors on bottom level including front desk was unlocked amd unattended. You do not need a key to get in this hotel. The parking lot had a lot of people hanging around late at night. Rooms are very dirty. Not vacuumed, dusted, or swept in bathroom, toilet dirty bathtubs grimy and brown and black. There is a gas station located very close and they did have breakfast. Nothing fancy but it was fine enough."

"Although the hotel is older and somewhat outdated, it was clean and well maintained. The staff was exceptional - very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. One thing to keep in mind is that valet parking is only available Friday through Sunday."

"Very outdated and wore out"

"From check- in to check-out 3 days later, this is definitely one of the nicest Hampton Inn’s we’ve ever stayed at. It was clean, seemed newly updated, the staff were wonderful, helpful, and our room was spacious and pleasant. Will stay here again!"

"Room did not smell fresh, was very small compared to pictures on the internet. Front desk staff was smoking outside near front door when we returned from getting supper- did not like having to smell and walk through smoke. Breakfast was mediocre. The bed we had was comfortable, and the shower had good temp and water pressure."

"This little hotel was just wonderful! The scenic decks overlooking the Ohio River were so enjoyable! And we loved the Halloween decorations! The staff was super personable. The room was very clean and cozy. Breakfast was nice and we loved how they enclosed part of the deck so you could enjoy the view and have your breakfast but still stay warm. The little bar was well supplied and the prices were good. We will definitely stay here again when we come back to Madison."
