Pretty good for what it is

CB is what it is. A small place with nice folks around. Great location on ocean with a lively beach. If you’re looking for new, super shiny clean & perfect maintenance, this isn’t the place for you. If you’re looking for a great location, friendly people & a clean space to rest your head, it works

Ugh!!

This was old and party city but not for the young. It was like a senior citizens frat party every night. Drug deals right out our door. But hey on a good note....the ocean is like 10 feet away!

Short stop over in Barbados

Comfortable, clean and location is great - right on the beach and close to St. Lawrence Gap. No one at reception continuously so you need to indicate arrival time. The Hotel.com website indicated airport shuttle. When I emailed and phoned I did not get a response till we landed. No shuttle use taxi. The staff arranged a cab for next morning but it was a no show. Just walk to street and flag one down. There are plenty. Local people are very friendly and helpful.

Secret paradise

Our stay was amazing, the beach front is beautiful and peaceful with the odd turtle passing by in its natural habitat. Locals are very friendly and the staff at Chateau Blanc are the best. One point is that there are 2 bars one on each side of the apartment, and depending on which room or suite you end up with, you could have very noisy evenings if spending time in your room. Thankfully the incredibly loud music reduces at 10pm. Still an amazing location.

Great location

The pillow was a little bit too hard and thick but I didn’t ask for new ones either. I didn’t have more than one washcloth because I was told I was alone in my room ? Other than that the room was clean and the location of the place was convenient.

Great vacation

It was awesome. We did enjoy our stay in Chateau Blanc. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. The location is great - seafront, close to many shops and restaurants. Have pleasure and take your stay there.

It is not the best of places to stay in Barbados, but for those on a budget, it works well. the Staff was very friendly and kind to me. I like the fact that is is close to all amenities, public transportation, and entertainment.

Apartment on the beach.

The position of Chateau Blanc is fantastic. Right on Worthing beach within walking of the restaurants and nightlife of St Lawrence Gap. The property is well kept. Our apartment was cosy and we had dual aspect from our corner balcony. Wake up every morning to a wonderful sea view and in the evening watch the sun go down. The staff are lovely and very helpful. We will return.

Chateau Blanc on the Sea

The hotel is older but has lots of charm. The staff are exceptional and always helpful. The beach is amazing. The rooms are clean. I could not have asked for a better place to stay. I would recommend this spot!

not worth the money.

Did not have hot water till around 11am just before check out. Very noisy. Beach Party till 1am. condition of room and furnishing very tired. over priced. Only had a light sheet to use as cover. Was not able to get on wifi till next morning when sitting in the office.

Great location apart from release of swamp water

Very friendly staff. Excellent location. Beach was very good except for 2 days when swamp water was released from a sluice gate with aroma of hydrogen sulphide. I wouldn’t go back until the government fixes this problem. Not the fault of the hotel or their very helpful staff.

Good location, beachfront property, and the beach is quite good. Good WiFi. Otherwise, shabby, the place looks more than extremely "tired"... extremely "exhausted", run-down, in desperate need for more than a face lift. Bed extremely hard and uneven, screaming everytime I tossed and turned. No blankets. Tight space, very few electrical outlets, tiny closet. Terrible drapes/privacy. Looks unclean. Shaving in the blind since no lights in the mirror/cabinet, no shelves to place toiletries, no soap dish in the shower, and no hot water (only tepid). Stayed two nights and no housekeeping service. .....and very noisy from very early morning street talkers to late night partygoers..... OK for $50-$60 a night but not for $140!!!

Perfect location.

The apartments are described as 'on sea' and they literally are in the beach. The beach is stunning and in November was not that busy. There is a bar next door serving snacks and a restaurant on the other side serving snacks and full meals. Both establishments have daily happy hours. They are somewhat noisy at times but always friendly and never open that late.
