Other methods we could have accepted were using another credit card or paying cash. If you did not have the funds to pay for the room, how can we accept that? No one is going to give you a free room :)

If you would have stopped by and asked the front desk about ice, we have an ice machine and laundry guest laundry mat. It would not hurt to ask before posting things like this. On the booking site when you booked your reservation it states "ICE MACHINE".

Julia, We were actually waiting to see what you would state to make sure you were at least telling the truth about some parts of your statement. We are surprised you have not stated the way your behavior was when you first walked in and what ACTUALLY happened during your stay. When you booked through us, you stated for a King Size bed which we sold out our room to a walk-in customer before you made the initial reservation. When you walked into the doors and giving attitude that we did not have that room for you, we suggested that we only had a room with 2 double beds left but you continued to complain. We suggested that if we could not fulfill your accommodation that you could stay at another hotel in town when in fact they had about a handful of rooms left because we had called in to check for availability but you still denied saying you wanted to stay at our place. My staff member gave you a HUGE discount on a room with 2 beds when we charge $85-$90 for those rooms. You still continued to complain. We had contacted Hotels.com and they had confirmed that you did not pay for the room and did not provide your credit card information so we are not sure why you were complaining to the front desk about paying when in fact you did not. Hotels around town were available but you did not want to go. Please have a better attitude towards others next time when you check-in the hotel. Your behavior to my staff members were uncalled for.

Misty, If there were any concerns about the room, you should have stopped by the office and the staff would have taken care of the problem for you. Customers who check-in never inform the front desk about having a pet and they sneak in their animal.

Jack, During your stay, there were other options the staff had recommended for you, and you never even mentioned that part. First, they had given you and your guests the option to get two rooms without additional cost and you declined that because you said you did not want to move all your belongings, which the staff had offered to help. Second, you went and told the staff that what would make your stay better is if we gave you an additional $15 off for the issue you were having and that is what they did and you never mentioned that. You had checked-in the room around Noon and did not mention anything to the staff after 5 hours later. Please, if you are going to blast incorrect information on the site, it would be best to ask for a refund and stay at another Hotel.
