"The place was a lodge and was great for what we wanted.. great staff and free breakfasts. You need to be prepared in that the rooms are smaller, no refrigerator or A/C."

"Our stay was good. Clean rooms, lots of space, quiet and peaceful. Only downside was the beds. Definitely need new mattresses. I slept fine but my husband and kids woke up achy from the lack of cushion from the mattress. But we would absolutely stay here again. The 3 beds was the perfect space for my family."

"Wuksachi Lodge – Spectacular Setting, but Some Improvements Are Needed 🌲✨ Wuksachi Lodge is surrounded by the breathtaking beauty of Sequoia National Park, and the location is truly spectacular. There were definitely highlights to our stay. Dinner was wonderful, and the stargazing was absolutely incredible! Seeing the night sky surrounded by such magnificent natural beauty was an unforgettable experience. However, there are some areas that really need attention, particularly when it comes to accessibility and guest convenience. Getting our luggage from the parking area to our accommodations was surprisingly difficult. The uphill sidewalks have multiple switchbacks, making it challenging to maneuver luggage carts. To make matters worse, portions of the sidewalks are broken and uneven. We nearly lost our luggage off the cart several times trying to navigate these areas. The nighttime lighting was also inadequate, making those same walkways even more difficult to navigate after dark. This is not simply an inconvenience but a potential safety concern, particularly for guests with mobility limitations or heavy luggage. Our room itself was fairly basic and somewhat underwhelming compared with the spectacular surroundings. While we thoroughly enjoyed the restaurant, incredible stargazing, and natural beauty, the lodge would greatly benefit from improved walkways, better lighting, and easier luggage access. "Friendly staff! The lobby and sitting area is beautiful. No restaurants in town except 2 Taco trucks so, have to travel to Lone Pine for restaurants. On the main highway so a little noisy. Hopefully they will finish the back yard for sitting outside and away from noise of the main highway. Try for an inside room and upstairs. Great history and old world charm. Shower works great and great bath products. Rooms simple and average size. Nice Continental breakfast."

"A nice location to stop when travelling through eastern California. Clean rooms, good air con and a friendly manager. Easy location to access. Whilst it’s a little dated it’s more than comfortable and quiet. It’s a great spot to explore from. I would stay here again and recommend it!"
Silver City Mountain Resort

"The property is on the National park. The drive to the resort will take you through some narrow winding roads and it will take approximately an hour and a half to make it up there (approximately 23-25 miles). In some places, it’s hard for two cars to get by. There was road construction going on, they closed the road down, so we had to schedule accordingly. Once you get up there you may not want to go back down to retrieve groceries, food, etc. No gas station, so gas up beforehand. Nice quiet resort, WiFi available, no tvs."
