"14 miles to kings canyon. Rooms small. Ie 2 twin beds had about 2 ft between them but rooms very clean and beds comfortable. Sufficient because if u r in the park, you will only be sleeping there. Building old but well kept. Would stay again based on proximity to park and excellent restaurant attached to property. Restaurant not fancy, but food excellent, portions huge, prices very reasonable. Nice to sit outside on stoop with other guests in the evening."

"Beautiful location and conveniently located in Sequoia National Park. We ate breakfast in our room and a buck and a doe joined us from outside the window. Would highly recommend making reservations well in advance."

"We booked this property after a horrible experience at another place and we absolutely loved it. It was beautiful and so picturesque, clean, stunning, and just wonderful. The host was very kind and friendly, & the restaurant had the most delicious food. We were very pleased with it. The only downside is that the road up there is very long and windy and lots of pot holes. Some areas are paved and others are not. It took us 1.5 hours to get there from Hwy 198. We were very nervous driving on it, but once we got to Silver City, everything was fantastic and some of the most pristine and beautiful scenery I've ever seen, especiallyif you go the end of the road past Silver City to the valley. It looks like Switzerland!"
