"This hotel has a beautiful garden. Location is good just a short drive from Guildford centre. Breakfasts have various choices and cook by order. Shower water pressure is good. However, the bed is too soft can cause back pain."

"The room was comfortable. Parking was perfect. The staff at breakfast were attentive and the breakfast very tasty."

"Very disappointing overall. Upon arrival, the receptionist couldn’t find our booking because it had been accidentally deleted by the reservation team. Thankfully, a helpful manager eventually provided us with a room. The room itself was quite small, with tiny beds and a poor layout. The bathroom had a large, unused empty space, while the main room barely had enough space to place luggage on the floor. There was no fridge, and the decoration was very basic and uninspiring. Also had a strong strange smell. On the positive side, the rooms were clean and seemed fairly new, and the garden area is nice. However, the hotel was hosting a wedding during our stay, which made it quite noisy. Overall, I would avoid booking this hotel."

"The room was spacious, well furnished and good value. Everything was very clean. Nice peaceful location overnight, and good information was shared prior to check in. "

"The hotel is very close to RHS Wisley, which is why we booked it. The staff (Nicholas, in particular) and others were very welcoming and helpful. The inn is historically interesting and the room we had was a four poster and very large. Everything was clean and tidy. There was a kettle, an electric fan and a heater, TV. However, ameneties other than a shower/body wash were lacking. No shower cap or sachets of moisturiser/hand soap provided. The bed was large and OK for one night. We had a meal there. The portions were generous, the dining area was very light and pleasant. The breakfast was good with cooked options, as well as pastries and bread and juices. This is not a large chain hotel with everything available to you. It is a uniquely old and charming hotel with capable and friendly staff at front of house, the restaurant and bar. If you need somewehere very close to Wisley RHS that won't break the bank and has a bit of " Je ne sai quois " about it, then this fits the bill very well."

"The room was super clean and welcoming. Very nice honesty bar with some well needed snacks. Lovely guest toiletries in bathroom and everything you would need to have a pleasant & welcoming stay. The breakfast staff were particularly helpful and kind. I will be back when next in the area. "
