"Room was great - very clean. Breakfast was all we could have wanted and more! There was a strike on but the staff were incredibly helpful and welcoming. Roof tower is amazing and well worth asking for the key to go up and have a look. Would definitely stay here again if we return to Bergen!"

"This 2 bedroom apartment was perfect for myself, my husband and our grown daughter. Great restaurants, delicious coffee and beautiful parks all within easy walking distance. Proximity to the university gave the neighborhood a fun vibe. Would definitely stay here again!"

"I really liked this hotel. We got a great room with a view of the water and it was on the corner, so we had windows on two sides. The location is great -- just a few minutes' walk away from the old parts of town and even walking distance from the train station. The only downsides we experienced were that the room is a bit dark (this seems to be a common hotel theme), and there was a strike while we were there, so some of the stuff was closed. But the hotel workers deserve to make a living wage,...

"The breakfast was very disappointing. The strike by hotel and restaurant workers had an obvious impact on the breakfast experience;though we only found out on arrival, when at reception we were told that no hot food would be on offer.This was a major problem for my wife who has significant blood-sugar problems. The choice of low sugar foods was woeful with only two choices of fruit, both not classed as low sugar. The choice of cereals and pastries did not compensate for the lack low sugar...

"Super convenient location, 2 minutes walk to fish market and floyen. Great breakfast. Had a junior suite which has a harbor view. Room is spacious and clean. Only issue is bathtub drain water very slow."

"The room was quite small and lacked sufficient clothing space and somewhere to put soap/gel while showering. Otherwise the room was very comfortable and everything worked well, and the breakfast was amazing and very good quality (especially the pancakes). The location was great with lots of handy stores nearby and the view was amazing."

"You can’t beat the location. Directly by water, fish market, lots of great restaurants within blocks. Rooms were spacious, bathrooms have claw foot tubs! Breakfast excellent and for me a pharmacy around the corner thank god!"

"This is a spacious apartment. There is a coffee machine in the lobby and a washer/dryer to use in the building. Full size kitchen, spacious bathroom and lots of room for a family. I was traveling with my daughter so we purchased things for breakfast to put in the fridge. We were within easy walking distance to a lot of places in the city. It is close to the train station."

"The first room’s door wouldn’t lock. We had to move. The rooms were both very warm and we were unable to cool the room down. Was a nice little room, but slept poorly due to excessive warmth. Fridge don’t work either. The staff was as helpful as they could be due to strike."

"Everything is done via the app, check-in, key on phone, check out. Room is clean. The key situation is absolutely dreadful. Useless is about what I can say. Rarely works and have to constantly keep restarting phone for the key to work. Not helpful at all. Pillows are so flat and uncomfortable. Towels are tiny and not the best. Shower is not bad at all. Cooking utensils everything you need for a studio room no problems at all. Apartment is close to everything you need, site seeing, tour...

"The hotel is in an excellent location opposite the fish market and very, very close to Bryggen and other places. The view from our hotel room windows is superb, and there is so much to eat at breakfast :):):) "
