"Had a wonderful time during our stay at the hotel. The original hotel we had booked was shut down due to the strike, but we were very lucky to have stayed here instead. The rooms had amazing views of the port and were very spacious. The rooms were clean and well maintained, and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was also excellent, with wide selection of food and well decorated. Would stay here again if we visit Bergen again!"

"Very well placed hotel, quiet and clean neighbourhood with plenty of amenities nearby. Room a little on the smaller side, but big enough for basic use, thankfully we didn't need to stay indoors all day, else it would have been rather cramped. Also, the fridge didn't exactly get cold, but was just barely cool enough for storing temperature sensitive medicines. Breakfast was good, although dairy intolerance could have been catered for better - no dairy free spreads or cheeses available when...

"This 2 bedroom apartment was perfect for myself, my husband and our grown daughter. Great restaurants, delicious coffee and beautiful parks all within easy walking distance. Proximity to the university gave the neighborhood a fun vibe. Would definitely stay here again!"

"I really liked this hotel. We got a great room with a view of the water and it was on the corner, so we had windows on two sides. The location is great -- just a few minutes' walk away from the old parts of town and even walking distance from the train station. The only downsides we experienced were that the room is a bit dark (this seems to be a common hotel theme), and there was a strike while we were there, so some of the stuff was closed. "The apartment is in a great location to explore Bergen from with the main high street 5-10 minutes walk, the Fishmarket 10-15 and Bryggen around 20 minutes walking. There are plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby along with the mandatory 7-11 on most corners. The property had everything we needed for the time we were there and was very well equipped, very clean and spacious inside. "We enjoyed staying in this historical hotel. It was very walkable to all the local sites. The hotel was affected by the strike and our room wasn't serviced during our 3 day stay. That took away from our enjoyment of the hotel."

"This is a spacious apartment. There is a coffee machine in the lobby and a washer/dryer to use in the building. Full size kitchen, spacious bathroom and lots of room for a family. I was traveling with my daughter so we purchased things for breakfast to put in the fridge. We were within easy walking distance to a lot of places in the city. It is close to the train station."

"Perfect location for traveling by train or by bus, it was just a short walk You need to take a short train ride to the airport at the central station, but the schedule is frequent. The lobby was cozy with comfortable sofas and chairs. You need to pay for breakfast buffet but worthwhile, but not much variation from day to day. The room was clean. Our bathroom had a bath tub with a shower, so it might not be easy to get in and out.for some people. The staff was friendly and helpful."
