"Although my room was clean there were no lamps by the bedside, and ZERO electrical outlets to use. The vanity electrical outlets by the bathroom did not work to power anything I plugged in. The only other outlet in the entire room were being used by the TV and the refridgerator. So in order to charge my phone for an alarm (no alarm clock and the phone in the room did not work either) I had to unplug the TV or let my food spoil and unplug the fridge.
There are a LOT of loitering single not to put together men lurking around this motel. I stayed regardless of this because I travel as a single woman with my large dog. The front desk did ask me if I prefer downstairs or upstairs for a room. I asked for upstairs and was relieved to find my room was close to the main lobby/office.
I did however request a quiet side of the property because I work nights and sleep during the day. I was placed above a room with a NONSTOP yapping dog all day as well as an abusive man sharing a wall with me whose domestic dispute was loud enough for me to hear through the wall and make my dog bark at said wall. I heard children crying in said room and called the police to the motel. Man told police he has a record of assault but he "would never hurt his kids and is staying here between homes etc".
This is not a safe motel for a single woman traveling. I literally bought a pepper spray at the nearby walmart for the rest of my stay (one more night). Never again."
"We truly enjoyed our stay at this location. The property was modern and welcoming. Our room was clean, the bed was really comfortable and the bathroom had excellent amenities. One thing that we noticed in our room, however, was that it had a desk chair, but not a desk area or table to work at a laptop nor did it have a place to put our suitcases. Not a huge issue - we used the laptop on the bed. The breakfast was the best we had at a hotel in our 2+ weeks of travelling. I would highly recommend this property.

"One of the best places we ever stayed. Loved the indoor pool and breakfast. Staff was great. Shampoo and conditioner in Shower was very convenient. Shower water pressure excellent only thing is mattress are a little hard but if you have to sleep on a hard mattress then this place is Golden. Gas station/Convince store next door same parking lot and a Japanese restaurant in front of property. The nightly rate was surprisingly low really low for all we got. Very Happy, Wonderful Stay!!!"

"Staff very pleasant and helpful. The property is undergoing renovations which wasn’t mentioned in the booking information or I would have never booked there. We were given a non-renovated room and asked for a renovated room which we moved to the next day (big mistake). Third floor had no carpeting in the hallways and the room which was supposed to be redone and the only thing different than the non-renovated was vinyl flooring instead of carpet. No hair dryer or ironing board in the room. The staff were very helpful in getting a hair dryer and the ironing board from the room we were in previously. The map of the hotel and fire escape route which is supposed to be on the back of the door in every hotel room wasn’t there and the trim work around the floor was missing so obviously this room wasn’t ready for guests. We were only there for the weekend but otherwise for a longer stay we would have left to go elsewhere. First and last time staying at a Candlewood anything. Heads up Expedia, you need to mention when a property is undergoing renovations and I’m done booking through Expedia. From now on I’m booking with the hotel directly or with another booking agency. Lastly I want to recognize again the staff at the Candlewood Suites for being pleasant and helpful during our stay. Management needs to up their game."
"WE'll your ATM are hidden or so far apart every time I need to use one it was a project to find one . And to get your free play ,that's a project by it self . I got there around 6pm and only seen waitress go by me 2 times . Machines were terrible only seen 2 people win over $500. I was told its Sunday Give Away and they never pay .You would think when you got people driving hours away you could ease up nope ."
"The overall experience was good, however a fire alarm woke us up at 6:30 in the morning. Unfortunately we stayed at the top floor and my partner on a walker would not have been able to negotiate the fire stairs. I had indicated with the reservation that I am traveling with a handicapped person and it looked like we had an handicapped accessible bathroom. Wish we would have been accommodated in a lower floor. Thank god the alarm was a failed one (something burned in the kitchen, we were told)"
"Only think l have with this hotel is no continental breakfast and the breakfast that we did order. It was cold and didn't have The Economist with it. The coffee maker didn't work. Overall, the stay was nice. And I was comfortable, and there was no microwave, which I would think that should be one of the amenities that they have in the room. In case if you don't want to go out, you want to warm up your food inside instead of going all the way downstairs to the 1st floor to warm up your food. That part didn't make sense to me."
