Anonymous: I give everyone the WIFI code when they check in, and advise them that the WIFI shuts down at 1030 pm and back on at 730 am. I wasnt aware that the WIFI was not working. And yes, I am not always around first thing in the morning. I usually do my grocery shopping, or walk the pups. Sorry I couldnt be of more help.

Cindy: My B&B is NOT suitable for handicapped persons, and the B&B is not listed as one! If you would have stated that you could NOT do stairs, I would have phoned Expedia, and had them find you other accommodation! You booked a very large room, however, it was on the upper level of the house with stairs, so I had to ask the guest in the lower level room, if she could move, so you could have that room (that had no stairs). The woman willing gave up her room for you. That room is for a single person only, and I gave your husband that information. I tried my best to make you comfortable for the one night that you were here, but perhaps you should have booked into a hotel/motel, that have handicapped access and elevators, etc.

Thanks Joe to the wonderful review. Thats the beauty of Yukon - Land of the midnight sun. I had curtains in the rooms before, but a lot of people complained that it not only darken the room, when not closed, but also made the room seem small. So I took them off. I do provide eye blinders in all the rooms, for just this purpose. I have four rooms, and two of the rooms have TV. You were in the room that did not have a TV. Originally, again, I had a TV in the room, handing from the wall, but many guests said it was very intrusive snd they were afraid that it was going to fall on them, so I took it out. I also had the same complained about the stand up fans. Some guests said it was too noisy, and others asked to have them removed, so they could put their suitcases in the closet. I also though I would replace the 7-track lights in the ceiling, but then the lightning would be very poor....! I appreciate all the comments....Thanks you. I hope you return again, to Whitehorse!

Efren: Thanks so much for the great review!! The summer "light" hours can be an issue, but we generally don't complain about the 21 long summer hours, as in winter we get about 4! Thanks again. I hope your stay was enjoyable!

Thank you for the review. I dont think you mentioned to me that you booked the private room, when I showed you the room. because there was no one in the private room at the time, and I could have switched you to that room, but I dont think that you actually booked the private room. You probably thought you did because the description said it was a deluxe room, but you would have known it wasn't because the private room, would have been more expensive. On the other hand, you had the entire bathroom to yourself, as there was no one else in the house at the time, I am sorry, if the other room was not to your satisfaction.

Zdravko Ivankovic: I am sorry that you had a bad experience. But as I explained to you in the three emails I sent you, Expedia added the extra bed to that room. That was clearly their mistake..not mine. I advised you that if you cancelled by midnight TWO days before you arrived, that you could cancel, otherwise if you did NOT show up, or cancelled after midnight, I would need to charge for the night, because there was NOT enough time for someone else to book! I advised you that there would be an airbed, and not a real bed, as I dont have spare beds sitting in the closet waiting to be used. I also advised you to "TAKE IT UP WITH EXPEDIA!" But I have to ask you, Did you enjoy the free and safe parking? Did you enjoy the comfortable queen bed you slept in? Did you enjoy the hot showers the three of you took in your private bathroom? Did you enjoy the continental breakfast and coffee? Did you enjoy the 5 hours of FREE internet? Did you enjoy the peace and quiet of your room, and location of the house? PS: The internet was NOT turned off the night you stayed - as we had a power outage, and it didn't reset itself. Again, I am sorry you had a bad experience, and I will need to TALK once again to EXPEDIA, and have them rectify the situation!!!

Thanks John for the review. I hope to see you back in Whitehorse again soon! In an ideal world, it would be nice to offer "unlimited 24-hour" WIFI. However, because of the limited amount of GB's on my plan and the number of people staying at the B&B in a month, I need to monitor and only provide daytime/evening use only. I am happy that you enjoyed your stay despite the limited house of WIFI.

If you would leave your name, instead of "anonymous", I could address your concerns. I did NOT give you a room downstairs---you booked the room downstairs. I dont know of any B&B's that have air-conditioning, some hotels dont even have air-conditioning!! No dogs were running around at 6 am. The best time they wake up is 730-8 am. It really upsets me to know that people expect so much more out of a B&B over a hotel. Did you enjoy the breakfast? Did you enjoy the free WIFI? Did you enjoy the free parking, not to mention your private bathroom and private entrance? Did you enjoy walking, or sitting in the backyard, enjoying the sunshine. I dont know who you are, and I cant imagine anyone that has stayed with me, that could have such a low opinion of the B&B!!! I am glad that you found another accommodation elsewhere, for the same price and with air-conditioning!

I am so sorry your stay wasnt as it should have been. I am sorry I wasnt available to answer questions, but I am always around the B&B, in the garden, or cleaning, etc. Again I am so sorry that you thought I was unapproachable. pp
