"Warm welcome by the host, explained everything you need to know. The bed was really comfortable, room was spacious and tidy, even had a fan which was welcome as the nights where in the 20s. Breakfast was gorgeous, cereals,full english or if you asked for anything similar they'd do it, the coffee was lovely, they also catered for the continental visitors. Spacious car park and a nice ten minute walk to the seaside. Overall i would recommend The George and would certainly visit again.

"Lovely rooms with big open windows. Nice view. Staff were amazing, so helpful and friendly. They even found me real milk instead of the dreaded UHT milk. Shower was and plentiful after a days walking. Smuggles inn is about 1km from bus stop through farmers paddock. Food was awesome especially the breakfast provided

"The receptionist / bartender/ waitress (Sian) was really friendly and efficient, handling a large dining group, customers at the bar and a late check in, but still find time to have a chat as we bellied up to the bar for drinks. "
"Got a family room (5people) with sea view which was freshly renovated clean and spacious. Newly furnished, new comfy mattresses large winfow facing the sea. Bathroom freshly renovated and modern with shower cubicle. The pictures in the listing were taken before renovation and doesn't do the justice. I was impressed with the room. "Nice and clean - a good stay. The hosts were really great when I arrived quite late at night due to a missed train, and were really helpful in making sure I could get right into my room easily. I really appreciated their helpfulness and easy communication.
There are a number of pets about the house including dogs, who make a bit of noise in the evening and early morning, but not too bad.
I would be quite happy to stay here again."
