"Turned up and got confronted by a member of staff in the car park who proceeded to tell us that there were only 3 staff working that day, and she had to clean all the rooms alone and everything was currently a mess so could we come back later to check in. The outside looked very tired and in need of maintenance so we cut our losses and decided to go and find somewhere else to stay!"

"Third time staying here due to the positive previous experiences. The positive streak continued with a great room featuring a fantastic air-conditioning unit which kept me cool in the June heat. A wonderful workout ensued in their very well-equipped gym set up. This was followed by a powerful shower and I went to dine nearby. Had a great night's sleep before a well-cooked breakfast got my day started perfectly. Can't wait to come back."

"We had a lovely stay in the Beacon View accommodation. It has a back deck with a superb view so we were disappointed it rained for the whole time lol. Perfect spot for exploring the South Downs National Park, or hopping to Lewes, or like us a day trip to Drusillas Zoo...."

Staff were friendly and helpful the breakfast was excellent with a large choice of items from continental and cooked food avaliiable plus hot drinks or juices.Our room was clean and comfortable perfect for our long weekend stay. "This hotel went beyond our expectations. On arrival met by friendly helpful staff. Our room was beautiful, comfortable and on ground floor as requested. The gardens are amazing. Dinner in restaurant was very enjoyable. There is ample free parking at the hotel and also has a spa (extra charge) attached. Im not sure how far the nearest station was as we were there by car which enabled us to visit various places. Every member of staff were helpul and friendly. I wouldnt hesitate to revisit this...
