"Came with my partner for 3 nights ended up booking an extra night while there , very helpful staff, staffed 24 hrs , room basic but clean everything you need for a short break could go with extra plug socket as only 2 in room under the desk , breakfast great lots of choice full English or cereal, toast , pancakes etc , bar reasonable priced , light on outside sign of hotel bulbs need replacing as takes look away from building will definitely be staying there again"

"Stayed here to break up the journey driving from France to Manchester and chose it largely based on price so I wasn't expecting much and therefore was pleasantly surprised. The hotel was very clean, rooms were a good size, beds really comfy and staff welcoming and professional. Kids loved the fishtanks, a great touch. Breakfast was really busy at 9am but the staff worked hard. Cereal, toast, coffee and a full English were all had. My only criticisms are that the room was a bit dated and the bathroom needs a facelift. The shower was powerful enough but the showerhead was fixed and low (I'm only 6ft) so a bit awkward. The tv is small and far away from the bed but that's just me being picky. If I'm in the area again I'll definitely stay here."

"Receptionist very polite and helpful on arrival To our surprise, we were given Welcome packs for our dogs, which we thought was adorable. Room clean, everything worked except the television, but didn’t report/complain as we didn’t particularly want to watch anything. A fair choice of food for Breakfast,all cooked properly Service was good, staff polite. Overall happy with our stay at this particular Holiday Inn."

"Breakfast excellent but the meat at theSunday carvery wasn't covered by staff all the time and consequently blue bottle flies were walking over the roast beef which put you off. When said about it to the staff member she just smiled and gave a little laugh. Not the most suitable answer. Otherwise the stay was very good."
