"The Best Western in Welland is like our "home away from home" -- from the front desk staff (all shifts) to the room cleaners -- and Deihdra (sp?) who does an exceptional job with the substantial breakfast that Best Western is deservedly well known for , out stay over the years has always been an outstanding experience ."

Beds were very very hard, fridge was freezing everything in, and microwave is on its last stretch (mismatched parts - plate was from the different one and was not turning). the faucet in the bath tub was broken and for the first few minutes I got dirty back water coming out of it. "We had someone staying in the building that kept us awake most of our second. He was his phone in the common area talking to a woman. The conversation was loud and we could hear her conversation as well. It was 12:20 in the morning when my wife asked him to stop. The staff living on site did nothing. We were not impressed. That second night stay should actually be refunded. Never had an experience like that at a B&B before."

"Was shocked when I was told that I would have to pay for on-site overnight parking. This should be listed with the room rate (i.e. room rate plus parking) not listed hidden in property amenities. I later found out that this is a common practice in Niagara Falls, Ontario. Also disappointed that a $15.00 off coupon, per table, was offered for breakfast. And then there was issue of our climate control was not working. The room was getting stuffy & too warm as we tried to turn the unit on at 11:30p....

"Although breakfast was good, I am very concerned about where they cooked it, the staff room door was frequently left open, and was not clean by any standards. The utility, storage closet was also filthy. We were so excited for the use of the pool however it was freezing and not enjoyable. The air-conditioner did not keep the room very cool either. The staff was very friendly though."
