Me and the wife was expecting the Washington suite which is in the main manor. The pictures of the room clearly shows the arched windows of the house. We went there for the experience of the Manor. What we got was there so called suite room which was a basement under the house. I overlooked that. But when we went to sleep, the outdoor lighting kept us up ,because it shined in our room all night. They had no drapes to close, just blinds. Room was warm, the bed was horrible. Told the owner in the morning, we had to leave because we could not sleep. He did not offer anything. They charged us for two nights even though we only stayed one night. Worst place as comfort goes I ever stayed at. Was clean though. I did not want to stay in a basement/so called suite. I paid for a room up stairs never received it or money back. Have pictures to back it up.

When you arrived Friday, you were thrilled about the complimentary upgrade you were given. If this issue would have been brought up, we would have been more than happy to address them so you wouldn't have had to leave. We would have gladly given you a refund if you would have cancelled your other night stay, which would have opened it up for another guest to come and stay.

Gorgeous!
Absolutely wonderful experience overall and we would highly recommend. The property and views were beautiful and the owner was helpful and nice as could be. He even gave us a tour. The check-in process was extremely simple and the room was very comfortable.

The highest level of comfort and elegance was present in all aspects of our stay at Lafayette Manor. Les and Oksana were gracious hosts who provided beautiful and delicious breakfasts, coffee at the ready, any other requests as they came up, as well as an evening glass of wine. The linens were fresh and rooms very clean. The common area provided a full kitchen, sitting areas, as well as a balcony with a beautiful countryside view. By far, Lafayette Manor is the nicest B & B in which my husband and I have ever stayed. Lovely!

Wonderful time here! Stayed for my son's FLW family day looking for some more room to take him off base and relax a bit & this was perfect. Bigger than a hotel & didn't want to sit in a restaurant and so homey! Les & Oksana were so kind & welcoming. If you're looking for somewhere to take you & your soldier on family day this is lovely.

It is unique place to stay and enjoy. It is unfair to compare to any hotel chain because if you would rate best hotel chain at 10 then this is solid 30. And this 30 goes to people, food, building and room.

Never saw the place !
Never visited. Got a call the night before our reservation,from the owner. Expedia had booked all the rooms back in June, never should have been able to book with Hotels.com . Luckily the owners have a townhouse several miles away that we were able to use, so not a total loss.

Top notch service!
This was our first experience at a bed and breakfast. The hospitality we received was top notch. The daily breakfast was amazing! We would definitely recommend you stop for a visit.

Spent 2 nights, Les & Oksana were amazing hosts. Our cozy bedroom and every area of the house is beautiful. Outstanding breakfast. Highly recommended, my husband gave them 10☆.

I loved the quaint and gorgeous location of the manor. The hosts, Les and Oksana, were very kind and interesting. The homemade breakfast was beautiful and delicious, not to mention more than filling. The other guests were fun to learn a little bit about and we had a great experience over all.

The manor is perfectly serene. Oksana cooks a breakfast that is out of this world and anything we could ask for was available! Thank you for an amazing night!

Treasure in Missouri
Awesome caretakers who took extra steps to make our stay as comfortable as home. Location is 7 minute drive from the exit to Ft Leonard Wood. We had a spacious room with a gathering room on same level for hanging out and enjoying friends and family. Will definitely be back when in the area!

It was off the interstate but a little tricky to find. Because of a late night arrival by some other guests I was woken up from my sleep. Upon my reservation I chose a specific suite but they changed it when I got their.

We were greeted at the door by Oksana. The room was charming. Loved having Netflix available as we do not watch network TV. Breakfast was hearty and delicious. Good company. Would recommend this place highly.

Great settig, clean well manicured grounds, great breakfast, and very pleasant hosts. We would definitely stay again and recommend the Manor to others. It is great for couples without a bunch of kids.

Hospitality at its absolute finest! My fiancé and I felt like we were right at home! The room was spotless, the sheets were the softest sheets I had ever felt, and the property has a stunning view. Breakfast, prepared by the owner, would put any restaurant to shame. The fruit was sweet and ripe, the meal was spectacular, and dessert left my mouth watering for more. The owners truly take pride in what they do and go above and beyond. Will definitely stay again! 10/10 for sure (I’d give it a 20/10 if allowed)

This was our first time staying at a B & B. Our son was graduating boot camp from FLW and since we were going to be there 3 days, we didn't want just a hotel room. From the moment we stepped foot into Lafayette the service began and it was exceptional. The home is absolutely stunning and has such a relaxing feel to it. They are great people who are happy to accommodate you. They had compassion for everything we were going through and were just fabulous. Our son is remaining in Missouri for CBRN training and we WILL be staying at the Lafayette again and each and every time we visit.

They lied to me and ripped me off. Said they would do 1 thing and than did the opponent, as well as, I know Expedia called them 2x because I was on the phone at least 1 of the times and they said the would take care of the over charge and than did not. They said they would give me a receipt and did not.

Love this place and Les & Oksana were the ultimate hosts!! We did a very late check in at 2am but was greeted very nicely with a smile. The bed was comfy and the master bathroom with tube was awesome. The morning breakfast was to die for :) The 2 nights we spent at Layfayette Manor, was enjoyable and quite. The quietness was much needed and LOVE EVERYTHING about this place. I will definitely book there again if in the area.

Excellemt stay, warm inviting room. Oksana outdoes herself in the kitchen everthing was deliciouse. I was visiting the area for my sons graduation. So i was excited and exhausted they made me feel at home and i was well rested. I will be travelimg next year on Route 66 and i plan on staying here again. I highly recommend this place.

Great except the size of the bed
The B&B was overbooked and the owners made accommodations for us in a private suite with a private entrance on the first floor. It was very nice except I booked a king size bed and there was only a queen size in the suite. It was uncomfortable to sleep.
