"Fantastic stay at Central Wave Brighton. The location is great, really central and easy to get everywhere on foot. The room was clean and comfortable, and nicely done considering it’s an older building. The bed was very comfortable and we slept really well. Check-in was easy and everything ran smoothly. Communication was good, and it was nice to have someone at reception if needed. Overall, great value for money and a really pleasant stay. We’d happily come back."

"Large bathrooms; clean and new rooms. Not a lot of storage space for clothes ( 3 hangers). Sound proofing is good; onsite restaurant is decently priced. No small fridge. Mattresses are uber hard and it’s kinda hard to see hotel signs from the road. Value for money is excellent"

"Absolutely fabulous view from the sea view balcony room. Very friendly reception staff, amazing location right by the Sealife Centre. Unfortunately the room was below par. The shower randomly 'ran out of water' and there was no temperature control so it remained boiling hot; the kettle"

"Good location for Gatwick airport with easy parking. The IT was misbehaving at check-in so it took longer than liked but the staff were very apologetic. We had a meal in the restaurant in the evening which was good. However, the choice was limited. Similarly with breakfast."

"Place is just amazing. Close to Crawley Gatwick. And it's just brillant. Rooms are fully equipped n beds comfy. Immaculate clean fresh. Great warm welcome. Outside is just as amazing as the inside highly highly recommend. You are guaranteed to return time again n again. I know i will be. Truly great place n brillant price to. You will not want to stay anywhere else. Excellent"

"I have been staying here quite a few times over the last year as I live in Brighton and have been having a lot of issues with my flat. For one of the cheap places to stay (single room) this is definitely one of the best, depending on what things are important to you. I love that despite it not necessarily being the highest in modern fashion, the room is always super clean! The bedding is always crisp white and fresh, and with the walls being plain white (and clean!) it makes it all look fresh....

"Unfortunately first impressions of this hotel were of a tired property in need of updating. The bar and restaurant appeared to be clean and well presented. We had a drink in the bar but did not use the restaurant. Bedrooms are a good size and the bed was comfortable. There was a kettle and tea/coffee available. We also had a small television. What really lets the room down was the dirty tired bathroom. The window blind in the bathroom was mouldy, the toilet was stained at the u bend. It didn’t...
