*The service is fantastic: We locked ourselves out of the room, on a freezing night, (at around 8:30pm) and the staff didn’t hesitate to come and open the door for us. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

"My family and I had a wonderful two night stay at the Lake Inn Ballarat. We were very happy with our clean and spacious room, which included a convenient microwave we didn't even know we needed till we did. They also provided a cot for our entire stay for just $20. A major highlight was the attached City Oval Hotel, the food and drinks were excellent, making it incredibly convenient for dinner.
The only minor drawback was that the hot water in the shower wasn't as hot as we would have liked....
