One of my best ever hotel experiences. Great staff all around. Large, clean room & bathroom. Excellent buffet breakfast. Valuable Hot Spring Hotel in the city centre

wonderful, valuable hot spring city hotel. Very convenient, next to JR station and bus station. The hot spring facilities are brilliant and clean. The room is very decent size and the restaurant provided all you needed. Great experience.

It was a wonderful stay in Wakayama. Dormy Inn was icing on the cake. Hotel was clean and spacious, fun snacks during multiple times of the day... breakfast was a full on Japanese style buffet too! This is the spot for me whenever I'm in Wakayama. Cheers!

The facilities are varied, but with so many people, it is quite busy and slightly overcrowded. The breakfast is lovely, but the room is so small with so many guests that you will struggle to get food. They don’t allow people with tattoos in the onsen, and the rooms are quite small. The staff are lovely and very helpful. Good value for money, but not exceptional.

A very special property. More of an oasis inside the city than a “hotel”. An easy simple walk, even with luggage, from JR Rail/Bus drop off. Compared to the tiny hotel rooms of Tokyo, Yokohama you will not believe how spacious Dormy Inn’s rooms can be. Make sure to take advantage of their wonderful casual breakfast. The buffet has plenty of Japanese and Western offerings. And if you take advantage of the genuine onsen the pampering continues. We are grateful for the hospitality we enjoyed during our all too brief stay.
