"Love the hosts. Great amenities. Excellent breakfast. Such a charming place and great location."

"Really great place to stay everything was quiet and peaceful and the staff were friendly and helpful!!"

"There was no heat in one of the bedrooms and bathroom. The desk clerk bought us an electric heater but it only heated one room. If the registers worked, the desk clerk didn't know how to tell us to get them to work."

"Personale molto cordiale e disponibile. Esterno da cartolina, soprattutto in questo periodo!! La camera non era grandissima e il letto leggermente rumoroso ma tutti gli ospiti dopo le 21:00 rispettano il silenzio. Struttura ottimamente tenuta. Non è un hotel moderno con tutti i confort, ma non lo deve essere in questo contesto. Posto bellissimo"

"This place is wonderful. Made to order breakfast was delicious."

"Beautiful… Very clean and well maintained! Would definitely stay there again!"

"They cook up a hearty breakfast with many choices. The restaurant and pub are great."

"The close location to town was a big plus."

"Interesting lodge. The room was basic, but fully functional. Check in was self serve, but the inn keeper kept in touch very well via text."

"Beautiful hotel inside and out. Has amazing quiet areas outside to enjoy the fall. Has Beautiful covered bridge behind the property. Breakfast was great, staff was awesome. Plenty of food options near by. Word to the wise, door dash is very hard to do in this small town."

"The location was convenient."

"Stayed here while visiting Vermont, Stowe & Woodstock. It was a great base area. Hotel was great, beds were comfortable. One site dining was good. The is little to no nightlife in the town and everything does close early. But good coffee shops and the whole little town is walkable. Very cute town."

"Clean room and comfortable"

"Hands down the most charming place I've ever stayed! We stayed in the Captain's Quarters. We got to meet the owner in the morning. She was super friendly and authentic. Told us about the place's history as a real firehouse. She'd kept so much of the original character - from stained glass windows to the old switchboard. The hall had the old firefighters' portraits. There were several suites upstairs and a small lounge. Downstairs was a pub, which we sadly arrived too late to eat at, but was...

"No hairdryer. 2 small pillows for 2 adults. No hot water for the shower until I complained. 1 coffee pack for 2 adults. Wall HVAC unit only blew cold air and could not be adjusted. No hand towels in hotel. No hairdryer. A reasonable price but a guest should expect the basics. Clearly a badly managed hotel!"
