"The room was clean & the fireplace was a perk. The problem was that the room was a ridiculously far outdoor walk uphill from the front desk with no bellhop in sight although the property claims to have a bellhop. On our walk, a lady in an ATV stopped to talk to us but didn't offer a ride or help with bags. And after the uphill trek with luggage in the elements, we had to drag our bags up steep stairs because the building had no elevator despite hotels.com saying it has elevators. Only in the main building. The room had no drinking water & when we called the front desk, they told us to walk back a ridiculous distance to purchase water or use the vending machine in the building. Newsflash: The vending machines have been removed from our building as well as the main building. All other buildings require a key so we had no access. Doubt they have vending machines. Hence, no drinking water. We were thirsty. Their website states that fire pits are just steps from our door. False. They are only in the pool area. We requested a bellhop to help us with our bags when we were departing as we needed to store bags for a few hours. After 2 calls and 45 minutes, nobody showed up so once again, we lugged our own bags a ridiculous distance. The carpet on the stairs in the common area in the Mansfield house hasn't been changed in decades. We were hopeful for a great stay, but the grunt work and lack of customer service & false advertising was overwhelming. We deserve a refund! "
"The whole experience was very enjoyable. The room was comfortable and clean and the staff were friendly and inviting.
The breakfast each morning was expertly prepared and very delicious.
Ashley is a great cook very welcoming and she was a help to us by recommending great places to go eat and visit.
We also got really nice coffee mugs that we really like. They are very high quality for a very good price.
Overall this place is amazing and we would recommend it to anyone."
"Loved the location - close to Stowe Mountain Resort and overlooking a river - and the cozy, modern ski cabin feel of the guest rooms and common areas. Nicole at the front desk was professional, kind, and very helpful."
"Everything was clean and comfortable. Though I understand the economic advantages of using plastic cups, I think glassware should be available for drinking all beverages. Upgrading the breakfast danish and muffins would be nice - local bakery perhaps ? "
"Staff was absolutely wonderful! Check-in was informative and check-out smooth. The only downside was the breakfast, I was disappointed in the food. Other than that it was a pleasant stay experience."
"Very quick access to ski areas! Room was very comfortable. Coffee, tea, microwave, and dining area made it very comfortable to bring in food and eat onsite."
