We took an afternoon drive from Poipu out to the Waimea Valley. We stopped in the small town of Waimea on the return trip. I thought this lone fisherman contemplating the South Pacific was worth a snap.
If you are ever in Kauai then check out Waimea Town Pier at sunset. Kauai is fantastic and has many beautiful locations. Some like this location are very accessible for photographers.
