"If you are used to a higher end hotel/resort, this is not for you. If you like the idea of a quaint hotel with a cultural Hawaiian feel that focuses on relationships, then you need to stay here. The front desk staff felt like ohana by the end of our trip. The GM went out of her way to make sure and get to know us and share more about the island. It was obvious her staff is valued and enjoy working there. There is a $15 per day amentities fee that gives you the use of beach towels, snorkel equipment, boogie boards, beach chairs and more. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Coffee bar each morning, drinking water, books to borrow, and Wang Chung's karaoke bar in the evening. This hotel is one block away from Waikiki Beach."

"We had no hot water, keep in mind I have two little ones so this was very frustrating. Not until our second night did they address this and moved us to another room. They also didn’t clean our room or switch out our towels our entire stay. I was they were more transparent about the charges beforehand. "

"I loved the location the staff were friendly room was very spacious.. only thing I didn't like was the $60 a day parking fee sure it was valet but $60 plus tax a day is outrageous...if I stay here again I won't rent a car."
