"Room could have been cleaner. Hair in tub still, fingernail clipping behind door. Restaurant was very busy and we needed reservations to eat. Was not pointed out upon arrival. Restaurant ran out of some menu items by the time we could eat. Food was meh. This hotel is farther away from city center and to get to more eating places is about 20 minute walk. Good for getting in and out of each day, not good for food when we got back. Breakfast was ok, but they were slow to replace items that ran out. The staff had to run the hotel and restaurant. This made for mixed interactions. "
"Great location and good space for family. However they didn’t tell us before or when we checked on that the oven and hob were out of order. We had bought food to prepare so very disappointing and it meant eating out. They didn’t offer any money back or good will when we asked.

"We enjoyed a wonderful stay in the 'Nauti' Shepherd's hut. It was so cosy, warm, clean and immaculately presented. The bed was super comfortable and everything we could have needed was provided. A great location, with a peaceful and relaxing countryside setting. Great communication from the hosts. We will definitely be back in the future. Highly recommended for a cornish get away. "
"We arrived at the hotel late and upon arrival had a sign saying under renovations.
No pool/spa/gym/food.
Room was ok. However interconnecting door unlocked which puzzled the staff as to why we would want to lock it.
2nd night bar then closed and had to request more milk pots as no laundry service/restock had taken place.
Overall disappointed with the stay and feel it should be closed during renovations. The resort could be amazing but needs a lot of repairs.
For what was a basic room with no facilities the cost was far too high for what we got as a package
Because the hotel was pretty empty of guests it made the 2 nights feel like a horror movie"
"First time we stayed in a Shepard hut .
Went to Cornwall for some surfing at various beaches . The hut is very close to wadebridge shops and pubs and there’s local supermarkets close as well . It’s very very quiet and private as well , and there’s a log burning hot tub , at the property as well and a couple of sun loungers .there is some cooking equipment if you are prepared to make a meal using 2 hob stove . As I can cook almost anywhere given a pot and a heat source I found it ok to cook meals and you
Can also have a disposable BBQ if you want too .
It wasn’t cold either the tiny log burner kicks out loads of heat , and there’s a small electric heater provided .
There’s no Wi-Fi , as we were a way off the main house but we had internet on our phones . Signal was about 2-3 bars .
The only observation that could be improved would be the access from the car park to the hut . It’s not far but we got grass on our shoes
And by carrying luggage to the hut . It’s not a massive issue if you don’t mind brushing off the grass every time you walk over the field .
It was pretty dry and we wouldn’t want to walk that distance ( about 20-30M ) if it was muddy . Maybe there will be a gravel track going to the hut and a parking space for a car in the future as time progresses .
Other than that it was lovely
IDK ,
