Lots of great walks start from near the hotel, including the UNESCO walking trail throughout the Wachau. Great restaurant - and the wine is great. I can recommend the flammkuchen with their Pinot noir! "

"Eine tolle Ferienwohnung, aus der wir gar nicht mehr ausziehen wollten. Viele liebevolle Details und eine tolle Ausstattung, alles was man braucht. Herrlich war auch der kleine eigene Garten, herrlich für ein Frühstück, für dass wir in der nahen Gleisserei viele leckere Zutaten fanden. Ein herrliches Fleckchen!"

"Great place to stay, extremelly clean, well arranged, friendly staff and ready to help. Very good restaurant, not too many options but they are changing the menu completelly on a daily basis! So for sure you will find someting new each time when you'll attend. The food quality is very good, starting from breakfast to dinner. Room impecably clean, everything very well maintained. The surronding area is very pleasant, on the Danube shore with hills around close to manh beautifully hystoricall...

"Sehr solides, gepflegtes Hotel in zentraler Ortslage. Stift und alle anderen Sehenswürdigkeiten gut zu Fuß erreichbar. Der Ort ist auf Touristen sehr gut eingestellt, nicht nur gastronomisch, sondern auch mit vielen Informationen zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten. Gute Auskunft zum Stift Melk erhält man auch an der Rezeption im Hotel."

"Had a great stay in this hotel. Very friendly staff and nice attention to detail. Enjoyed the breakfast which had a good number of options. The quality of the hotel was better than the 3 stars it carries. We also ate in the hotel restaurant for dinner once which was very good. Great to try local dishes and produce. Well connected location close to the train station and Melk Abbey which was well worth a visit. "
