Located 8 mins walk to the train station and 5 mins walk to Melk Abbey its location is wonderful. Hotel is clean with basic amenities. Staff are friendly and helpful and I enjoy my stay there

It was quite empty as we stayed the day before Christmas Eve. Staff was adequate but not super friendly, which was fine.

The pictures of hotel are deceiving as I never did see the restaurant with the brick as displayed in the pictures. It may be a picture of the distillery down the street. There is dated carpet in the rooms so be sure to bring your “inside shoes”. Very clean and very friendly frontline staff and parking is onsite which is a plus.

Travelers should be aware that the hotel does not allow 4 adults to stay in the triple rooms even though the room has a queen bed and two singles. This limitation is buried in their terms and doesn’t make a great deal of sense. The only explanation we received was that “it is the rule”.

Tricked at the front desk.

Everything was great but the 3 of us felt we were tricked about the laundry. We asked the front desk clerk if they had a local laundry mat. He quickly and happily said "Leave it with us and we will take care of it!" we were so excited and even thought "that is soooo nice". Upon check out the same guy said oh you owe us for the laundry.. I asked so how much and it was 60 Euros!! All he had to do is say we can do it for you for a fee. I think it was his willingness to offer that as a service to us, that was deceiving. Other than that, the place was perfect...Would be nice if they would credit my card back for this un expected laundry charge...

Had a great stay in this hotel. Very friendly staff and nice attention to detail. Enjoyed the breakfast which had a good number of options. The quality of the hotel was better than the 3 stars it carries. We also ate in the hotel restaurant for dinner once which was very good. Great to try local dishes and produce. Well connected location close to the train station and Melk Abbey which was well worth a visit.

Sehr guter Lage, hervorragende Küche

Etwas ältere Einrichtung des Zimmers, jedoch sauber und angenehm. Sehr ruhig, trotz zentraler Lage, zum Stift und Altstadt nur wenige Minuten. Hervorragende Küche, habe dort zu Abend gegessen! Frühstück ebenfalls sehr gut.
