This is a large chateau. The owner has been restoring the property for over 10 years but it is still work in progress. He is an excellent cook and the in house dinners are a good choice. The breakfast was good. The bedroom was large, clean and very 19th century French. Lovely polished wood floors. Large grounds around the hotel. Free parking.

We came to the hotel for the semi-final euro game in Lyon. We found a very nice place in the midlle of the forest, very helptull and nice owner, and we had a great stay there

Skuffende værelse ala ungkarlehybel under taget

Meget slidt udseende bygning, poolen var snavset, der lugtede surt/af gammel røg på trappen og vores værelse var en slidt lejlighed under taget som ikke lignede billederne og som intet havde med "slotsophold" at gøre. Badeværelset var ikke rengjort og det så ud som at der var nikotinlag på nogle af møblerne. Vi bookede et slotsværelse, men det lignede ikke de rum der var på billederne.

L'accueil est souriant, même si on vous précise bien avant toute chose que l'arrivée est à partir de 17h. Quelle importance lorsque la chambre est prête ? Trois chambres occupées dans tout le château, mais impossible de choisir ou de changer..... L'environnement est agréable : en pleine nature, au milieu d'un parc. Chambre à l'étage correcte, mais chambre au rez-de-chaussée décevante. Impression de froid humide, plutôt sombre. Le château lui même a besoin d'une grosse remise en état. Beaucoup de détails laissent à désirer. C'est une vieille maison..... Le chauffage fonctionne et l'eau de la douche est chaude. Mais aucun produit de toilette dans la salle d'eau, excepté un pot de.....savon liquide.....on ne sait pas.... Pas de sèche cheveux. Literie correcte. Pas de télé dans la chambre. Le petit déjeuner n'est pas un buffet : des pots entamés de confiture, pâte chocolatée..... sur la table. Quelques petits fromages identiques plutôt bons. (Pas de choix....) Des yaourts aux fruits d'Intermarche, une bouteille de jus de fruit, eau chaude pour le thé et café dans une thermos. Un croissant par personne et pain à volonté.(une variété). Du beurre sur la table dans un ravier. Quelques oranges. Il faut aimer ce qui est proposé, car pas de choix. Pas de jambon ou saucisson.....Pas de spécialité de la région. Le rapport qualité prix est mauvais pour l'ensemble à mon avis.

Disappointing stay

Ground are amazing except the pool was not open. Did not know that before I booked or would have booked elsewhere. Didn't mind if it would have been cold but was not fit to swim in. No restaurant as advertised and no bar either. Room was clean but back mold in shower. Wifi did not reach room unless door open and even then off and on.

Accueil très chaleureux mais d'après les photos, nous nous attendions à mieux. Il est vrai que l'on est plus sur une chambre d'hôte qu'un hôtel. Disons que le lieu a gardé toute son "authenticité". Rien à redire niveau propreté. C'est surtout le rapport qualité/prix qui me dérange.

Les photos attirent mais ne sont pas la réalité !

Très déçue par rapport au tarif assez élevé pour les prestations proposées ; 90€ pour un couple, une nuit avec petit déjeuner très simple. Ce n'est pas un buffet qui est présenté sur table. Dans votre descriptif il est mentionné la télévision. Un petit écran est suspendu mais on nous annonce qu'il ne fonctionne pas. La télé est dans la salle commune du chateau au RDC. ( Tromperie ) J'avais pris mon maillot de bain, je n'ai trempé que les orteils !..... Sur la photo et descriptif, nous apercevons une superbe piscine ; or, elle est gelée, pourtant je ne crains pas l'eau froide. DE surcroit, les chaises relax autour de la piscine laissent à désirée. Bonne literie. Lieu calme. Par contre, Monsieur demeure accueillant, une personne souriante.

Sur la route vers le sud très belle étape au calme

Calme, très bon accueil, grande chambre pour 4, un vrai charme pour un passage d'une nuit sur la route des vacances. Les enfants ont même profité de la piscine !
