Beautiful apartment over 3 floors . Old village has lovely authentic feel . Apartment itself is very clean and comfortable and really cannot fault it . 2 sets of concrete winding stairs so just be mindful of that when booking. Not suitable for young children or people with reduced mobility .

Wer sich mehrere Wochen wenig bewegen will, ist hier hervorragend aufgehoben. Wir waren nur eine Woche da, deswegen hat uns besonders gestört, dass in der Wohnung keinerlei Verbrauchs- oder Putzmaterial vorhanden ist. Man muss Lappen, Klopapier, Spülmittel, Schwämme, Bürsten... komplett selbst besorgen...

Beautiful village with relaxing areas, pool, restaurant, bars and, easy to walk around. Peaceful atmosphere! Apartment extremely comfy with everything I need to chill and to sleep quietly! Easy and quick access to Vilamoura. OV International staff very kind, quick and good communication, and thoughtful to accommodate your needs! Very happy with my stay!

Disappointed

Stay was ok did not like having to pay for sun beds every day and when it says apartment is air conditioned knowing what rooms are would have been very helpful not being able to sleep ruins the holiday

The property was very nice, the pools were perfect although they closed at 8PM which we felt was a little early. the studio was a nice size but the furnishing's were a bit sketchy. But on a whole it was ok.

We rented a property through OV International. The property was set over 2 floors had 1 bathroom, 1 shower room and a roof terrace. The roof terrace was lovely very peaceful. The property it’s self was very clean and comfortable, the electrics were a bit iffy some of the sockets hung out of the wall and at least one of the light switches didn’t work but wasn’t really a problem. There were 2 sets of spiral stairs up to the bedrooms and the roof terrace they were a little tricky to negotiate and i’m not sure they would be suitable for small children. There was very little in the way of house keeping clean towels once a week and on the day before we left someone came in and mopped the kitchen and lounge floor. They don’t provide toilet rolls or anything like that again not a problem if you know. The 3 pools are accessed by a card which can be obtained for a 20 euro deposit from the letting agent. The location itself is only a short 20 minute walk down to the marina so is perfect it’s literally right next to the Pinhal golf course. If you don’t want to go too far there’s pretty much everything you need on site supermarket, bakery, restaurants etc. The OV letting agents were very friendly and helpful and are situated right in the centre of the square near the red post box. There is another letting agent Old Village 4u which is just to the left of the red post box. I would definitely recommend staying at the Old Village it was lovely.

3 day short stay

The old village has all the amenities you require for a pleasant stay, good bars with happy hour, restaurants ( a little pricey - take away 4 medium and 1 small pizza, side of chips = €75) when it's cheaper near the harbour?. Try and get a balcony with your room.

Loved having a private roof terrace, apartment was lovely furnished with new appliances. liked the layout of the apartment complex with good variety of restaurants, cafes etc. Would have liked the towels to have been replaced more often than they were though.

Fantastic 3 bed accommodation with roof terrace

Booking in the lady on reception asked if we had been before and went through the complex with the aid of a map, and also showed us a bigger map and the location of the beach and marina. The accommodation was clean tidy and very pleasant and the roof terrace came in very handy for my good lady wife to relax on whilst I took the boys to the pool. There is a charge for sun beds and people do get down early to get these (I could be super critical and say they need another pool but I would be being really picky). There is a number of bars and restaurants on site and we tried a couple and was not disappointed all serving good food with a wide selection including local piri piri dishes. We had a car and the location was great as we played gold a couple of times and was in easy reach of both courses they also have a taxi service you can book (slightly more expensive than local) which can be convenient for the drop to the Marina for something to eat or Vale de Loba etc. There is a train that goes to the beach that you can catch (road version) to teh beach etc which does take a while but also does a nice little tour around Villamoura so you have an option for travel as well as walking.

Muy bien, pero algo de frío

Como punto negativo para hoteles.com, no especificaba claramente al realizar la reserva que el establecimiento sólo admite pagos en efectivo, de hecho me pidió los datos de la tarjeta de crédito para realizar la reserva, lo que no tiene mucho sentido ya que no llegan a cobrarla por ahí y tuve que acudir a un cajero para hacer checkin. Como punto negativo de mi estancia, el estudio tenía unas amplias puertas de cristal, tanto en la zona de estar como en la de la cama, que daban a una terraza y aportan mucha luz natural, pero el aislamiento térmico no es nada bueno y a pesar de tener el aire acondicionado al máximo tal como salía el calor se escapaba por esa pared. Siendo febrero, para estar en el sofá de noche tuve que taparme con una manta, y en la cama añadir dos mantas más. Por lo demás, todo estaba bien, imagino que en temporada alta la estancia será mucho más confortable al no hacer frío.

Sivujen kuvat vastaavat hienoa todellisuutta.

Yllätykseksi - hyväksi - kuvat kohteesta olivat livenä ihan totta. Saimme isolla parvekkeella ( hienoja kukkaköynnöksiä) varustetun appartomenton jossa oli luvattu varustus. Lakanoiden vaihto oli kerran viikossa joten hankimme itse lisää. Appartomentos hintataso oli 1/3 hyvistä hotelleista joten ei hotellitason siivousta odotettukaan.Palvelu oli koko ajan ystävällistä. Ja puitteet ylittivät kaikki odotuksemme. Ympäristö ja lähimiljöö on upeaa. Menemme uudelleen.

Apartamento razoável.

Apartamento sem sol, húmido, colchões desconfortáveis, sofá sem almofadas para as costas, pouca louça e talheres, quase todos desirmanados. Este apartamento tem possibilidade de melhorar. Mudar as janelas e portas de vidro por outras de vidros duplos seria óptimo se quiserem alugar no Inverno. As torneiras do WC são antigas e a precisar de borrachas novas para não ficarem a pingar. Cabe aos proprietários investir ou não nos melhoramentos da sua propriedade. O preço cobrado foi justo de acordo com as condições do apartamento. O aldeamento tem jardins muito bonitos e bem cuidados. As piscinas são adequadas para este tipo de aldeamento. Os restaurantes são simpáticos.

Fin lejlighed med gode terrasser. Man skal være opmærksom på at det koster 1,5 euro for en halv dag, at leje en liggestolved poolen. En ekstra udgift vi ikke havde fået noget at vide om, før vi ankom.

Will definitely return

We stayed in apartment 16BC. We had a roof top terrace but no parasol for the table. With the hot weather we could have done with one. Washing machine was leaking. Only one key for the apartment was available. Another key would have been very handy. The air conditioning system was only ok. Cleaning of our apartment was not good. Under beds, tables etc were very dusty and did not get a good clean before we moved in. Also dead cockroach under our bed. The Old Village Complex is fantastic and I would highly recommend and will definitely return but improvements to the apartment could have been made

Lovely complex, everything you need!

We came to the Old Village Vilamoura for a family wedding and as we were there for just a couple of days booked a studio apartment through Expedia. The whole process from start to finish was so easy and Mina in particular at OV international (one of the management companies at the Old Village) has been so helpful in arranging everything including a very friendly and efficient transfer service. When we arrived at Faro airport our driving was waiting for us and drove the short distance to the Old Village. There (as we arrived later in the evening) security were waiting with our keys to our appartment. The apartment was very spacious for a studio, lovely and clean and had everything you would need. We were very impressed. The village itself is so pretty lots of restaurants and bars and the 3 pools are amazing. We couldn't fault our stay at the Old Village and are looking forward to our week long family stay in July.

Lovely place, excellent home-from-home

Apartment 15a, Church Square is a lovely, comfortable, spacious studio apartment, with fully fitted kitchen (kettle, good sized fridge freezer, hob, oven, microwave, washing machine, iron and ironing board) enabling one to have a fully self-catering holiday, if wanted. The twin beds are firm, yet comfortable. Enough cupboard and storage space, plenty of hangers, sensible wattage hair-dryer. Large patio area gets sun mid-day to late afternoon ( although you do have to move the sun loungers around to catch it). Patio table and four chairs for al fresco dining. Safe parking just outside. Friendly, efficient maid service change the bath linen every four days, bed linen was changed once in 10 days. Three pools, not much pool-side space, would be very crowded in high-season. Newly introduced charge for sunlounger use at E1.50 per bed per morning and afternoon sessions. A couple would pay E6 per day to lie by pool, which would soon add up. Refundable E20 dpeosit for keycard to access the pool. Unfriendly and officious office staff.

Travellers beware

If you don't want the sheets changed at all and no clean towels for 4 days or no room service at all for 4 days then this is the place to come , beware in booking for airport transfer might not show up otherwise algarve is a fantastic place very friendly bars restaurants so yes come to the algarve sadly not to old village.
