"Batonka Lodge was booked as part of a package trip that we did to Africa. However, we extended our trip so stayed two additional nights at the Lodge. The lodge is small compared to some other places that have recently been built or being built but it was just right. It had a really cozy colonial feel to it. Price and room facility are reasonable while the staff is reall helpful when they helped managing for local contact during my accident (ankle twist). "Rooms were clean, everything good except the room key situation. Internet down and so didn’t issue room keys. Access room through patio door."

"We stayed in a standard double. It was tight for room but bed very comfortable. Pool was nice just to cool off because we hit the hot period. The internet worked very well. Tent was way too hot even with a fan during the day but cooled off nicely around 8-9pm. Bathroom facilities were not so nice/ipdated. No hot water when we came but because of the heat, that was ok. Staff was very nice and accommodating. Airport pick-up went smoothly. Didn’t use the kitchen self-help but others did. ...
