"Our first impression was good, until we noticed all the stains on the carpet in our room. The Lady Byng room. They may have been cleaned, but the stains remained. The breakfast, including the presentation, was lovely. The lounge was lovely with interesting artifacts. Parking was convenient. I went to the office at 10:45 on the morning of our departure to buy some coffee; the office sign said closed from 11-4."

"Amazing stay. The most comfortable bed I've ever slept in. We stayed in the Chelsea room. Amazing breakfast each morning, endless 24hr coffee and baked goods, and beautiful location. We stayed 4 nights and it was perfect."

"Check-in staff was very welcoming and the stay included a gift of chocolates and one of their brews. Complimentary parking and easy access to walking trails is a huge plus. Room is located in a heritage house. Our room was on the main floor and sound does travel from hallways and upper floors, but it did not affect our enjoyment. The bed was quite comfortable and room was clean. It would have been nice to have an electrical outlet in the bathroom, or a mirror in the main room near an outlet. A...

"Beautiful place to stay. The highlight is the breakfast prepared by a chef, and the lovely deer that were grazing outside. It’s also a short walk up the street to the lieutenant governor’s residence with the lovely walking trails and Craigdarroch castle."
