"Location was ok. We knew about 3pm check in but were disappointed we had no access to a sitting room with a bathroom before 3pm after traveling overnight from New York. The place was nice but the floor in the bathroom stall was not clean. We didn’t get breakfast one day but were only told the reason why after we asked."

"The hotel room was absolutely amazing. So beautifully decorated and high quality furniture and thoughtful design. The balcony was very cool aswell.
The hotel is ideally located with perfect access to trams and restaurants and bars.
Fabrice was very welcoming and met with us each morning and served us breakfast.
Overall a fantastic experience and would highly recommend. One of the nicest hotels we’ve stayed in in France."

"Brilliant location, very walkable with great transport links. Room was basic but clean-it did have an unusual smell tho.
Breakfast had reasonable variety but was so busy, often no tables for a while."

"Location 4 stars. Hotel really no more than 2 stars. Expedia VIP offers 1 drink per person, was told take it from minibar. Minibar had waters and 1 beer, no wine in a wine region, really? Hotel scrutinized minibar not to offer what should be a minibar. Stuff very unhelpful. No bar or restaurant. Told us to buy drinks and sit in a shabby lobby. Superior rooms are real basic rooms with very slippery shower floor. Overall the location is great, hotel itself not worthy the money. Will not stay...

"The hotel is chic, modern, and stylish. It is a short walk to the city center but you could also access the Bordeaux efficient Tram system (a quick walk) to go to the city center. "We were completely happy with our stay at Starcity Hotel. The hotel was very clean and in a great location, just a short walk from the Old Town and many of the main attractions.
We especially loved the layout and the outdoor setup in front of our accessible room. It was so nice to be able to sit outside, enjoy the sunshine, and relax in the garden. The beautiful layout and landscaping even reminded us of Thailand, which made the stay feel especially welcoming.

"The hotel is in a good location and valet parking available at 30 euros per day. Staff helpful upon arrival. The room was satisfactory but the bathroom was poor, it looked tired. The Spa is misleading as there is a small pool which is basically in the bar / communal area and not at all as expected. My wife and I didn’t use as it was not a comfortable place to have a swim.
The valet wasn’t there when we checked out at 9.15am so I had to go find my own car in the car park."
