"The location was close to the promenade and beach. A lovely park was directly across from the property. It is a perfect place to walk to the train station, beach, restaurants and shops. It was a quiet location as well. The owners are lovely and very accommodating. The train made seeing Lucca and Cinque Terre a dream come true for me. I highly recommend this place. "

"This place was better than I could have hoped for - so very new and modern in an ancient place. Best of all worlds. Incredible blackout shades. Very effective AC. Walking distance to all Viareggio has to offer (the beaches!). Shout out to Giacomo! Before our visit we reserved two different beach clubs - Bagno La Pia was excellent as was the restaurant there. Bagno Amedea was not great - they overcharged not realizing I had a reservation and did not apply the 10% discount (coupon from Vu Suites)...

"We honeymooned in Viareggio 20 years ago and returned for our 20th anniversary last week. On arrival at the Grand Hotel Royal, the Receptionist said they’d upgraded us to a room with a balcony facing the seafront, which was really lovely….each evening we sat on the balcony, drinking a glass of wine before dinner and watching the world go by.
Throughout our stay, the staff were all really helpful and friendly, the food was excellent (except for the steak) and the peaceful swimming pool and bar...

Das Beste ist aber die unschlagbar gute Lage: Strand und Promenade sehr nah, sehr viele Restaurants, Coop Supermarkt direkt dabei und dennoch ruhig, vor allem in der Nacht.
