Running along the eastern side of Termini Central Station, this street is close to many of the city’s historic attractions and shopping areas.

Stroll along Via Marsala and discover a minor basilica built in the late 19th century. Peruse high-quality gifts, clothing and beauty products in Termini Central Station’s shopping mall, the Il Forum Termini. Visit the National Museum of Rome and discover ancient artworks, only a short walk from Via Marsala. This street is conveniently located near shopping areas, traditional Italian pizzerias, wine bars and many famous historic buildings.

Find the Sacred Heart of Jesus at Castro Pretorio, a Roman Catholic parish and titular church on Via Marsala. Admire the elegant neo Renaissance-style architecture and notice the exquisite alabaster columns and California marble altar inside the church. This church was consecrated in the 19th century and elevated to minor basilica status in the early 20th century.

Take a short walk from Via Marsala to the Palazzo Massimo alle Terme site of the National Museum of Rome. The magnificent neo-Renaissance-style building hosts some of the world’s finest classical artworks.

This church was built in the 16th century and is a stunning example of Baroque architecture. Take a guided tour and see beautiful religious sculptures, including an altarpiece depicting the crucifixion.
