"Not a lot of options here, but the Majestic is grossly overpriced so the Lodge is your only option for a traditional hotel experience. Staff is hit or miss - some were great, some were very disinterested. Restaurant was decent but again, great busboy, lousy waitress. Rooms are comfortable but nothing special. Location is excellent for access to Valley activities."

"The hotel was nice, a bit old but that was expected. The Air conditioning worked great, we were always cool in the room even though it was really hot outside. We had 2 river view rooms and it was great to open the balcony door and see the Merced river rushing by.
The Yosemite View Lodge is very close to the entrance of the park and we had no trouble accessing. We were there Tues/Wed/Thurs and entered the park at 7am, 8am and 9am without long lines. We always found parking at the Yosemite Valley Lodge which is very close to lower and upper Yosemite falls hikes. It was also close to the swinging bridge where we could swim in the river (which was very cold, but fun).
The River restaurant was good and my husband and boys especially liked the salmon and the trout. They also have a pizza place which we didn't try, but heard it was good.
We were never able to get the TV to work as it did not connect to Netflix, Hulu or Prime. We ended up just watching our iPads.
Overall we had a really good stay and would recommend staying here!"
"We had a 1 bedroom with full kitchen. We cooked daily. Room had everything we needed. Very clean.
Cons, no a/c. Fans are provided and we got a nice cross breeze. The ice machine was out. The water heater was small meaning you had to get in and out quickly.
All that being said, I would still recommend staying there. We have stayed at others and this is our favorite."
"The restroom and shower building was very clean and our cabin was cozy and comfortable. I will recommend this place to my friends! It took 45 mins to Yosemite village."
"This place is a total gem- a full resort on the way to Yosemite. The pool area is fantastic, the cabins are clean, spacious and beautiful. The service was amazing... The energy amongst the staff was overwhelmingly positive. Highly recommend."
