"Great location for Yosemite Valley, however that is where the perks of this hotel finish.
The staff are not helpful, we had a smell of Gas in the room and maintenance did very little, there was no remorse from the staff, they eventually moved us as we refused to stay in the room we were in.
The rooms dated, need updating. The restaurants close at 8pm and have a limited menu."
"I can’t say enough good things about this place. It was hidden treasure and I definitely didn’t expect it to be as wonderful as it was. The game room was so nice and well maintained. The rec room had so many cozy chairs and couches, games to play, books to read. The fireplaces were all going every night. Free snores was an added perk. Loved walking around. The food at the restaurant was delicious. The look out point to watch the sunset was so pretty. Literally felt like I was in a hallmark Christmas movie set. "
"The staff was really friendly the property was exactly what I wanted I don't like camping but I wanted to be in nature not a big resort it was perfect "
"First experience wasn’t great as the staff member that checked us in wasn’t at all helpful. This instantly created a negative impact on the start of our trip. We could hear another staff member being very welcoming, super friendly and giving his guests lots of useful information, it was just unfortunate we got someone who clearly couldn’t be bothered making even the smallest effort."
"Separate duplex cabins scattered on a forested hillside. Rustic stairs between facilities can be challenging for older people. Very quiet. Good food and varied menu, but noisy restaurant during peak hours."
"The room and exterior in front of the room were not as clean as we would like. It looked like the photos. Although there were no amenities on site, it was jointly owned with a nearby hotel and guests could use the pool and facilities there. It was the only motel unit, and was close to the road, so after it rained, the cars were loud. Definitely a close location for visiting Yosemite. "
"Yurt was a great place to experience Yosemite. The yurt was clean, fire place worked great, the sky light gives you a morning sunrise, and provided clean towels, hot water, coffee pot, dishwasher, soap, shampoo, body wash, conditioner, and dishes you can use. So far, it’s a great place to detox from social media and enjoy what Mother Nature has to offer. "
