"Not a lot of options here, but the Majestic is grossly overpriced so the Lodge is your only option for a traditional hotel experience. Staff is hit or miss - some were great, some were very disinterested. Restaurant was decent but again, great busboy, lousy waitress. Rooms are comfortable but nothing special. Location is excellent for access to Valley activities."

"This place is about an hour drive south of Yosemite Valley a few miles outside the South gate. So it's very easy to get to, you just can't miss it going down highway 41.
Extreme family friendly place. If you have young kids, this is definitely catered to them. There are 2 swimming pools, one inside and one outside. Fire pits to roast S'Mores (materials are free from the lobby). Some kids games spread all over the lawn. We were there for 2 days and there are still children playing everywhere at 9 PM. Although mine spent the whole day inside the park and just don't have enough energy to swim anymore..
They have 2 on-site restaurant plus a cafe. But if you are going with your children, you aren't going to go to the fancy one for sure. Meals are good though.
Rooms are pretty large even for a family of 4. Although the bathroom is a bit on the smaller side. We went in the summer so it's pretty hot and we have to leave the AC on. I think my biggest issue is noise. the bathroom barn door is loud, the toilet flushes very loud. The walls a bit thin so you can hear your neighs talking. and the AC unit is really loud. My kids are a bit sound sensitive so they didn't really like that and kept getting woken up.
One thing to note. during the busy season, it can take 30-60 minutes just to get to the south gate, then another 45 minutes drive to get into the park in the morning. It's mainly because of all the traffic getting stopped to pay the park entrance fee. So take that into acc"
"This place is a total gem- a full resort on the way to Yosemite. The pool area is fantastic, the cabins are clean, spacious and beautiful. The service was amazing... The energy amongst the staff was overwhelmingly positive. Highly recommend."
"Location was perfect-two minutes from Yosemite park entrance. Rooms were clean and had everything we needed, loved sitting on the balcony. Pool and hot tub open 24 hours and the restaurant onsite was great. Lots of families, lots of kids around."
"Beautiful place , great staff. Restaurant and bar very good indeed. The complimentary tea and coffee was nice but no vegetarian sandwiches at all.
The room was nice but very warm as the ceiling fan wouldn’t work and the lights were sporadic!!"
"Great experience all around! Staff were friendly and the property was clean and really well maintained. I would just note they allow dogs but they dont offer anything for your dog like a bed or bowl. Their food truck also didnt show one day so some dishes were out of stock but these were not huge issues given we were there to enjoy the outdoor experience."
